FHUGAWZ did not appear from one single decision. It is the result of years of music, distance, design, recovery and unfinished ideas that kept asking for a clearer form.
I started getting into music around 2005. At first, it was guitar, songs, bands and the need to understand why certain sounds could stay inside the body for years. During that time I studied classical guitar, played in different projects and slowly started building a personal relationship with music that was never only technical. It was always emotional first.

WHY MUSIC STAYED
Before FHUGAWZ, there were several bands and experiments. Some were practical: two cover bands created to play classic rock songs in English and native rock songs in bars and earn money through music. Others were more personal: an experimental project, a metalcore band, a pop rock band and several loose songs that did not belong to any fixed group.
The two most important projects from that time were Last Daybreak, a metalcore band, and Onyx, a pop rock band. Both projects became serious attempts to build something scalable, rehearse consistently and understand what it means to defend original music over time.
FROM SOUND TO IMAGE
Around 2015, design became another language. I started learning graphic design on my own and eventually used it as a way to work and make a living.
That changed the way I understood music. A song was no longer only a song. It needed a visual world, a tone, a system, an atmosphere, a way of being presented. Later, I kept studying production, branding, product design and creative strategy through platforms like Platzi, Google and other learning spaces.
Over time, the two worlds started connecting: music and design, sound and image, emotion and structure.

THE RETURN AFTER THE BREAK
After the personal incident described in the first AXIOMS article, returning to music felt different.
This was not about making songs just to make songs. It was about building something with enough emotional weight, visual consistency and professional direction to carry everything that had happened. That process changed the purpose of the project.
The idea became clearer: even without ideal resources, perfect conditions or an easy path, it is possible to build something serious if the work is approached with discipline, patience and care.
WHAT SHAPED THE SOUND
FHUGAWZ also exists because the influences were never only from one place.
Nirvana shaped part of the raw emotional center. Secret & Whisper brought another sense of intensity and atmosphere. Pierce the Veil opened a door to dramatic emotion and post-hardcore urgency. Sullii became an important reference during recovery, especially because of the way fragility and digital melancholy can coexist. Billie Eilish became one of the strongest references for how a modern pop project can be intimate, dark, minimal, visual and massive at the same time.
FHUGAWZ comes from that mix: rock energy, dark pop intimacy, cinematic atmosphere, digital texture, emotional writing and visual direction.

WHY IT EXISTS NOW
FHUGAWZ exists to prove that an artistic project can be built from fragments.
From old bands. From design work. From recovery. From personal rupture. From references. From songs that never found their place before. From the need to create a professional world even when the starting point is imperfect.
It is music, but it is also visual identity, production, storytelling and a way to turn difficult experiences into something structured enough to share.
That is the reason FHUGAWZ exists: to build a dark pop world where sound, image and emotion do not feel separated.
Follow the project, listen to the previews and stay close to the process. This is still being built.
